Judy Nunn.

Beloved actor and bestselling author Judy Nunn spoke at an event held at Elanora Library in November 2011. Looking stunning in a paw-print outfit, she enthralled a crowd of ninety with stories of her research into the history of Tasmania and how she wrote her book 'Tiger Men'. A reading from the book, complete with voices, had everyone talking at the morning tea afterwards, and delighted fans chatted with Judy as she signed their books.

Matthew Reilly came to our Helensvale store in October 2011 and when he arrived there was an enormous line of readers waiting to meet him! Best count was three hundred fans, all of whom came away with great memories, their very own signed copies of Matthew's books, and often photos they'd had taken with him too. National Bookshop Day, 20th August, 2011.

National Bookshop Day was a great success for Love That Book! Attended by countless local families, we had storytime with kids' authors Kerry Brown and Angela Sunde as well as staff member Phoebe. There was face-painting and balloons, awesome book giveaways, and more than a few people commented on the store's new look, new stock, new management and friendly staff. We had a wonderful time and are already planning ways to make Bookshop Day 2012 even bigger and better!
